Theresa Metanchuk, D.O., is an Osteopathic Family Medicine Physician specializing in Family Medicine. Dr. Metanchuk’s passion for health care helps her identify the unique clinical needs of diverse patient populations. She believes in building long-term patient-doctor relationships. Her philosophy focuses on encouraging patient self-education while partnering with each patient to create a comprehensive wellness plan. Her goal is to provide health care that is evidence-based and culturally sensitive to her patients.
Dr. Metanchuk earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency at St. Joseph Health System, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She gained her Bachelor of Science from Temple University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians licenses her.
Dr. Metanchuk is a board member of the Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians where she serves as Chair of the Governance and Leadership Committee and Vice Chair of the Political Action Committee. Also, she is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the American Osteopathic Associations.
