NEED A RIDE?
Transportation help is available

For patients covered by Maryland Medicaid, transportation assistance may be available through medical transport for the patient and a loved one. These resources can accommodate oxygen tanks, wheelchairs or other medical equipment that a patient may need to bring along.

Volunteers are available to help patients and a loved one get to local healthcare appointments, and taxi vouchers and gas cards are available on a limited basis.

Transportation outside the Cecil County area may be available if a patient has no other options. Patients who have a car but limited funds may receive a gas card.

To schedule transportation assistance, please call the American Cancer Society Road to Recovery 800-227-2345 (1-800-ACS-2345) at least three days before an appointment.
