Moms Matter

Regardless of where your baby was born, these services are available to our community at no cost.

Moms Matter postpartum support group is for those who are trying to cope with the many changes and stressors of life after the birth of a baby. This group is intended to provide mother to mother support, advocacy, encouragement and hope to new mothers struggling through this period of tremendous adjustment. Especially intended for new mothers struggling with postpartum depression or have a history of PPD.

Breastfeeding Mom’s Cafe

Regardless of where your baby was born, these services are available to our community at no cost.

New mothers have many questions and concerns about breastfeeding. Breastfeeding Mom’s café is an easy way for mothers to exchange information and experiences. This is a casual drop-in with weight checks before and after feedings. No registration is required.

American Diabetes Association Support Group @ Union Hospital Diabetes Center
May 10 @ 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Support and educational group for persons with diabetes and their families.

We will not meet at our usual time for the month of November. We will be having a special presentation on Tuesday November 12th for American Diabetes Month. This presentation will be held at the YMCA in Elkton from 6:30 -7:30 pm. Registration is required as space is limited. Please call our office for more information or to register.

Kids Can Cope

Kids Can Cope is a support group offered by Union Hospital for Children ages 6 – 16 who have a parent or other loved one with cancer or other chronic illness.

Creative activites are designed to help participants identify and cope with feelings and build resiliency they will need during difficult times.
