Kandis Samuels-Leutzinger, M.D., M.P.H., is a patient-centered and highly motivated board-certified physician. In her current role as a physician for ChristianaCare primary care, she works with patients of all ages to provide truly individualized care and create a comprehensive health and wellness plan for her patients and their families.
Dr. Samuels-Leutzinger earned her doctorate in medicine at the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. She completed her residency in family medicine at St. Francis Healthcare in Wilmington, DE. Also, she earned a master’s degree in public health from George Washington University in Washington, DC. Prior to joining ChristianaCare, she worked as an associate program director and faculty member in a family medicine residency at a large medical center in Dover, DE. She is an active member of several professional societies including the American Medical Association. the American Academy of Family Physicians and the National Medical Association where she serves as president of the Delaware chapter.
