ChristianaCare Union Hospital has created a comprehensive Breast Health Center designed to improve access to and awareness of breast cancer prevention and treatment options, support patients receiving treatment, and improve the quality of life of patients with breast cancer. Designed with your well-being in mind, care is

provided in a private, comfortable setting. Our Breast Health Center is equipped with the latest technology to provide breast imaging and related services.

A Breast Health Nurse Specialist is available for individual education, support, and peace of mind. All breast-imaging services are fully accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in accordance with the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA).

We are sure you have already heard plenty about the importance of getting your annual mammograms in detecting breast cancer early and saving lives.

At our breast center, we offer 3D mammography, allowing providers to see breast cancer at its earliest stages when it is most treatable. With 3D mammograms, doctors have the detailed information they need to identify or rule out breast cancer with greater certainty.
