With four board-certified physicians and a highly experienced team of nurses and support staff, Union OB/GYN provides specialized care before, during and after pregnancy. Our physicians also treat a range of conditions affecting women’s reproductive system and overall health, such as breast and cervical cancers, anemia, depression, hormone imbalance, incontinence, osteoporosis, ovarian cysts/cancer, sexually transmitted diseases and urinary tract infections.


Samir Khanjar, MD, FACOG graduated from Cornell University, in Ithaca, N.Y., and the State University of New York at Buffalo. He completed his residency at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, in Wilmington, N.C., and is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Khanjar has been a physician in the Elkton area for 18 years.

Yi Li, MD, FACOG earned her medical degree at Beijing (China) Medical University and completed a residency in OB/GYN at Wayne State University, in Detroit. She received her PhD in microbiology and immunology from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn. She is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and comes to our area from North Hills Medical Center in Greenville, S.C. Previously, she practiced in Virginia and Maryland.

Jessica Nunez, MD, FACOG, received her medical degree with high honors from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica. She completed her internship and residency at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore. Board-certified in OB/GYN, Dr. Nunez practiced at Donalsonville (Georgia) Hospital Women’s Center for more than four years.

Russell A. White, MD, FACOG is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia, in Richmond; completed a residency at Christiana Care Health Services, in Newark; and joined the medical staff at Union Hospital in February 2015.
