Medical Specialty Unit

The Medical Unit at Union Hospital is a beautiful, newly structured 24 bed unit, which opened in January 2007. All patient rooms are private with the exception of four, very spacious semi-private rooms. The unit is designed to provide 24-hour care for acutely ill medical patients, primarily adults age 18 and older, in the following categories: medical, oncology, general and geriatrics. Computer documentation is used along with electronic scanning of all medications.
