The Union Hospital Foundation has helped to fund new facilities and equipment, brought new programming to Union Hospital, and created endowments to fund the future of medicine in Cecil County. Create your legacy through planned giving and estate planning. Through the Union Hospital Legacy Society, an outreach program offered through our Planned Giving Initiative, interested donors will be provided with several options for charitable giving that will help Union Hospital meet the healthcare challenges of today and tomorrow.

There are many options offered through the Legacy Society that give back to you while you are living, such as charitable gift annuity options, charitable trust options, retirement plan assets, and much more.  These plans are designed to allow you to make a significant future gift while retaining, or in many cases, increasing the income you receive from the asset used to make the gift.

You can also plan gifts “In Memory of” or “In Lieu of Flowers” to honor loved ones who have passed away. Furthermore, any monetary gift you leave to Union Hospital will reduce the size of your taxable estate while helping a good cause.
