We are dedicated to the well-being of all the generations of women in our community. Being proactive about breast health has already made a difference. More women are being diagnosed earlier—so that treatment can begin sooner. One of the reasons our patient satisfaction rate is so high—currently at 95 percent—is that we look at breast health services from a woman’s point of view. We know you want answers. And we know that a weekend of worrying should not be part of the process. That you want to learn what options you have right away. That you want to have an appointment with a surgeon scheduled for you before you leave. And that you want to be sure the results are accurate—that your mammogram is read by a qualified, certified radiologist.

Our Breast Health Center features:

• Two mammography units that accommodate more appointments, cut the wait time in half and speed early detection
• Computer Assisted Detection Unit (also known as CAD or R-2) that double-checks mammogram films—used in conjunction with radiologist readings, these units have been shown to improve reading accuracy by 20 percent
• Stereotactic breast biopsies, eliminating the need for more invasive procedures
• Ultrasound dedicated solely to breast center patients to provide a faster diagnosis and speed the path to treatment
• MammoPad® FDA-cleared foam cushions for a softer, warmer mammograms
