Union Hospital Receives Comptroller's Award

Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot presented Kenneth Lewis, MD, JD, president and CEO, and the Executive Management team at Union Hospital with the Better with Less award. A program recognizing organizations which have achieved economic success while using fewer resources, identified new market opportunities in the current economic climate, used innovation to operate more efficiently or strengthened local communities by providing vital services or opportunities for success. Nearly 100 nominations were received. One winner was announced in each county and Union Hospital was the award winner for Cecil County.
