Infant Massage & Soothing Techniques

Have you tried everything and the baby is still crying?  Learn from the experts how to calm a newborn by replicating the movement and sounds they remember from the womb. This course is intended for expectant parents or caregivers of newborns. Topics include:

  • Soothing techniques
  • Benefits of infant massage to both baby and parent
  • Demonstration and practice of full body massage for infants
  • Therapeutic strokes for relieving colic, constipation, teething and congestion
     

Instructor is RN certified in infant massage instruction (CIMI). Dolls will be provided for hands on practice session.

Classes held Monday's every other month 6:30-8:30 p.m.
