Health Education Programs

Part of our mission at Union Hospital is to provide information and education designed to promote health and wellness to our patients. We accomplish this through classes, support groups, speaker’s programs and health screenings.
 
Registration is required for all classes and programs. You can register by calling 410-392-7000. When indicated, online registration is available.

Union Hospital offers the following education programs:

Our program will teach you the importance of proper nutrition and exercise, stress management, and controlling your blood sugar to minimize complications. Registration required.

The I Can Cope program gives participants an opportunity to share their concerns with others having similar experiences and to design ways to cope with the challenges that arise from a cancer diagnosis.

Family education for the expectant mother, dad to be, or that special sibling, our experts are ready to have your entire family prepared for your new arrival. 

Medically accurate course offered to girls and boys between the ages of 11-13. Safe Sitter teaches the skills needed to safely care for children - infants through school age.
