Dr. Khan and Dr. Farooq have many years of experience in pediatric medicine:
Mohammad Khan, M.D., Ph.D, F.A.A.P.
Dr. Khan completed his fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center and Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, LA. Fluent in six languages, he is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatrics. For the last 22 years, Dr. Khan has worked as an office-based pediatrician and a pediatric emergency room physician at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans. Specializing in hematology and oncology, Dr. Khan also directs the Pediatric Hospitalist Program at Union Hospital.
Muhammad Farooq, M.D., F.A.A.P.
After earning his medical degree, Dr. Farooq completed double internships in pediatric medicine and pediatric surgery at the National Institute of Child Health in Karachi, Pakistan. Dr. Farooq completed his residency at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has been a practicing pediatrician for 17 years and specializes in neonatology.
