Community Benefit

At Union Hospital we are committed to enhancing the health and well-being of the residents in Cecil County and neighboring communities.  In keeping with this mission we continuously support our communities by reinvesting our time, efforts and resources into improving community health.  This is known as Community Benefit.

As part of Community Benefit, we identify community health needs through a Community Health Needs Assessment.

We then address these needs through health initiatives categorized under the following:
Community Health Inprovement Services
Health Professions Education
Mission Driven Health Services
Financial Contributions
Community Building Activities
